I tried to purchase this great memory stick from Sandisk directly, but their site is really messed up (saying they sell it in stores at certain locations, and their E-Store says it is available then you get the sorry notice! And also their live support stinks too when I asked them about it!) so, I was apprehensive about buying it since such behavior usually means a revised bad product. But I took the chance and was pleased it is still a real good item and I would recommend it compared to the other plastic breakable ones you would find in stores. Just consider deleting the U3 software that comes with it (if you bought it just for the memory), that auto-loads if you accept, because it would be well embedded in your computer.

Rugged and durable. Keep away from bad USB ports, it is built with Liquidmetal casing that is crush-resistant to over 2,000 lbs, but you can fry in a bad port

The Sandisk Cruzer Titanium series are the only well-constructed thumb drives I've found, so my family owns several in 2, 4, 8 and 16 GB capacities. All the others I've owned break within a few months. I'm not fond of the U3 security add-on so I use the Sandisk utility to remove it - my only minor complaint about them. Good stuff!

Received Different Product than Described Jan 05, 2010
The item I received is not exactly the same as the item described. Perhaps trivial, but the LED light is amber, not blue as advertised and I'm not certain if there are other differences, but the drive works fine and I was able to uninstall the U3 software (I didn't need it) easily.
