Love this HD-DVD Player! Aug 29, 2010 I love this Toshiba HD-A3 DVD Player. I also have the Toshiba HD-A2 DVD Player and both have excellent sound and picture for a resonable cost. I purchased manufacturer refurbished and have been very happy. I was able to upconvert my standard DVD's to HD as well as purchase the HD-DVD Format DVD's that have been discontinued and are selling for great prices! Blu-Ray Upconverts as well but at a really high price for the hardware & Blu-Ray DVD's are too Expensive! I will not be taking the BLU-RAY leap. The Toshiba HD-DVD Player IS MY TRANSITION CHOICE.....Real 3-D TV is here & 3-D DVD Players are right around the corner. Before you can blink twice they will be affordable for every budget. Real 3-D will be my next choice for upgrades in my TV & DVD PLAYER's....I am skipping Blu-Ray.
Great Picture Quality Feb 15, 2010 Picture quality is excellent. Although it's a discontinued product, I believe it would have given a tough competition to Bluray players had it remained in production.

Great Picture and Sound. Dec 22, 2009 This HD-DVD player looks great on the shelf and displays an outstanding picture. I have not found any flaws with the product as of yet. I am satisfied and recommend to all.

So so Mar 11, 2009 Plays fine but takes forever to load a cd or dvd and of course, HD is dead. Would not recommend even if the format had continued.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT Feb 22, 2009 This has been a very good product with no problems. We also have a Toshiba HD large flat-screen T.V. to which this DVD Player is attached. The price was certainly reasonable.
